Winter Tires
Has anyone installed a set of winter tires on there TC yet. The stock tires suck even on wet roads, I know they won't do well for a PA winter. I was looking at the
Bridgestone Bliztak performance winters.
Thanks, jjp

There are a couple threads about this in Tread and Butter (where I'm sure this one will be moved very soon).
Long story short -- get yourself a set of Nokian Hakkapeliittas if you can. Much better snow tires than the Blizzaks, but unfortunately Tire Rack doesn't carry them. There are other online stores that do, though, and depending on where you live you may be able to get them locally. I've been using Hakkas for years on my previous car, and they tractor through snow up to the car's bumper.
Last month I bought a set of Hakkas for my tC in 195/65R15 (also bought a set of 15" wheels, obviously). I'm planning to mount them on the car this weekend; actually wishing I'd already done it since there's snow in the forecast tonight.
