I saw those a week ago and thought about it but if YOU think about it (go to therir website), the springs look exactly like sprint's and cost only $120, $99 on ebay. Lots of people traded in the sprints for spy's or tanabe's cuz of a bad ride. Plus, if you look at their coilovers, they sell for only $99, how good could these possibly be?

Spy is my number one choice... but due to financial setback...i am opting to go with Tanabe DF210 springs...although it's metallic pink color may deter u from getting it...i could care less....haha. i think it's different...

The SPY are $219 plus tax ...extra for delivery. They are located in SD area. Tanabe are $165 cash..no tax...and the shop i'm getting it from is located in the city of industry.

Tanabe's have great ride like the SPY and lowers it 2.2" in the front and 2.0 in the rear...which i think makes more sense since the xB's front wheel gap is bigger in the front.

However, SPY's are available for delivery now....if u want ur springs now...go with SPY.The Tanabes are on backorder in Japan..i'm suppose to pick mine up soon...but the shop have no idea when the springs will be in...and these people i refer to are japanese... and they can't even get specific info about the delivery. argh...frustration of waiting.

Who are all these people that traded in their Sprints and Tanabes for Spy?

scion, are you running sprints by any chance? The people who I have talked to about springs always tell me that the sprint springs are not the best even for the price. Tanabe and Spy, mainly Spy, are the ones people tend to get, no one is trading the tanabe (like you mentioned) for spys, sprints 4 spys, but there are people who have been introduced to all the springs like randode and he recommends spy. I talked to him 2 days ago and he told me not to get those springs so I didn't. There's one thing he knows better than everyone else and that's how the springs ride on both scions.

Well guys,
Im a cheap bastard so I will be the guinea pig I bought the spring tech springs today 1.75 drop. $115.00 and they will be here on wednesday. I will put them on and take a pic to post so you can see how they look they go put around for a bit and give you a report on the ride. I will probably put them on saturday so look for the progress report then.

You know, personally I would've done the same thing, buy cheap springs and I could easily take the ride but I sometimes drive my parents and I don't want them to be uncomfortable so I'll spend a little more for the goldline springs. Plus I still wanna put on 19's so it will definately not ride that great. Tell us how they are, who know's, maybe future scion owners will be saving even more money.

Well kids,
The springs are in as of tonight. The ride really isnt that bad I havent had a chance to go on the freeway or cut a few corners yet. I will try to get a picture up of how low it is. Anyone know how far it is from the ground the the fender (wheelwell) the bottom of the fender wheelwell, you get what i mean? I want to know how much it dropped it cause it doesnt look like 2 inches to me. Let me know I will tell you how the ride is after I go to work tommarow.
