Hi people.....well, I know it happens, but it makes me mad. I'm kind of perfectionist and already did the clearfilm protection at the hood front and sides + back bumper, it looks great buy the way, expensive ($299) but clear look is worth it.

Anyway, driving to work after some snow and a rock hit the top area of the hood and hit the windshield, with no damage there. It missed the protection I put (of course). It's a small scratch, but deep. I'm working on it right now, applying with a toothpick, several coats of paint and planning to remove it slowly tomorrow morning with a light wax (3M) and a lot of patience trying to make it disappear.

Any suggestions ??

it happens look for a HOOD FROM A WRECKED XB CUZ IT'LL be the cheapest way

 

I feel your pain, I have a two month old Blue pearl and it has also been victimized by the evil forces of road debri, on front bumper though....sadly there isn't much we can do except curse and feel like you just got grazed in the hairy fellas every time you look at it! btw is it down to the metal?
