Ok so lets say that I decide to get either TRD or Koni shocks...would I be able to get the cusco or tein pillowball/camber plates to work with them? or are they strictly for the Cusco/Tein/Tanabe coilover gig?

They will fit with all apllication of shorcks. You might have to do some modification to the camber plates but you never know till you put them together. I know for sure the Cusco camber paltes will fit Cusco Coilovers and Tein coilovers with out any modification.

Tein pillow ball upper mounts are only available on the Tein Super Street setup when purchased together. They cannot be purchased separately for the xA/xB.

why would you waste your money on springs, struts and then the camber plates when you couldve purchased a nice set of coilovers in the first place for around the same price?

because I already haave springs, and for x-mas my leading lady ordered some shocks for me...just that she won't tell what they are (either TRD or Koni)....sooo yeah. otherwise i would get some normal coilovers. i mean if consensus say no the camber paltes won't fit, then I'll just rock some camber bolts until I do get coilovers

If the TRD or Koni struts use the stock strut upper mount then it should work but I could be wrong. The Tein Basics use the stock strut upper mount and I used the Cusco camber plate instead.
