Default 17x9.5 . . . can I make it fit on an xB?

So the wheels I'm looking at come in 7, 8 and 9.5 inch widths. I can get any offset and backspace (between 3.75 and 7.75 inches) I want. Can I make a 9.5 fit? Or should I stick with the 8 inch wide wheels? I can also stagger widths front and rear.

Ideal offsets or backspace?

be ready to roll your fenders and probably pulling as well.. what type of suspension are you running would be a good starting point number one. One thing to remember about our rear is that black control arm that comes up and also our caster goes extremely forward when the suspension in pushed down (aka hitting a bump or having people in the back)

I'm on Tein S-techs and do not plan to go lower as this car is my daily driver . . . even in Minnesota's snowy winters.

IMO, 9.5 will look funny with just 2" drop. With super flush wheels, I think the wheel gap seems to be even more evident. When I had Goldines and 17x8+25 with 205/40 the gap was huge, so I switched to 205/45.

As Rico stated, 9.5s will fit, but you may want to go to coilovers when you do.

yea if your looking at 17x9.5 expect to get coilovers or err ride. Because you will probably have like a 1-2"s of gap and will not look right...
