Default What size will work?

I am purchasing a Scion XB with the TRD lower springs from the factory. Lowers the car 30mm (so the sight says) I was just curious as to what would be the biggest size rims and tires i could fit under the box without having to modify the fenders or without the tires rubbing as i will be doing alot of freeway miles (dont want a blowout on a texas freeway).
Thanks.

I think 215/35 or 30-19 are the size tire you want.

From your subject heading, that's a question only the ladies can answer.

Dude just want to mention this to ya. The springs from the factory dont even lower the car a full inch. Its a tad under. 30mm ins nothing. The Goldlines will take it down 2in. And there cheaper.

Thanks for the info.... Only question is will the 19s still fit (215/35/19) without rubbing or with me having to mod the fenders?

Good question, Only thing I can tell ya is I got 17's and there is still plenty of room to play with. If I had 19's I'd be alot happier

You might rub the littelist bit a full lock in the front but it depends on the wheel. I wouldnt worry about rubbing. you shouldbe fine!

Thanks for the info. Ispoke with a guy on here that works for Konig and he said the 19's would rub pretty good in the rear. He suggested that with a 2" drop i should go with 18's at 215/35/18 18x7.5. He said the 18's would only rub on really tight turns.

I don't think that Konig guy is correct. I have friends running Axis Mod Sevens with 19 x 8 all the way around with Maxis lip in the rear and have no rubbing with 215/35/19 tires. And right now I have 18 x 7.5 with a 215/35/18 and I dont rub at full lock.

It all depends on offset. I don't know when people on this site are going to get it... Wheel size means absolutely nothing without offset or backspacing measurements.

Well i am looking at 215/35/19 with Konig Tuner 2 (19 x 7.5 size 45 offset. I am just a little curious as to whether or not they will rub bad enough to where i would have to mod the fenders in anyway. Keep in mind i am also going with a 2" drop from goldline springs.

If anything you might have too much back spacing. But too much backspacing on an xB is way better than not enough. If you are a little heavy on the offset, you can always run spacers. In the rear, I would definitely recommend the One Ton Garage 3/8" rear shim. You may or may not need anything in the front.

If after you get the wheels installed, you feel like you still need to push the wheels out more OTG also has regular wheel spacers available in 5mm and 10mm. You can really fine tune your wheel positioning with that.

Short of ordering more expensive high end wheels to your specs, the spacers and shims really are your best option.

yeah the spacersae only 70 shipped so its a small price when you have spent xxx amount on rims and tires. Thanks for the advice from everyone. I like as much info as i can get on a subject before i decide to go out and spend the hard earned green stuff ya know.
