Default Will this look good?

I have 17x7 or 7.5 rims with a 42 offset with 245 tires. I have an unknown drop ~2.5 in. in front and ~2 in. in back. If I leave the fronts as they are and put on 25mm spacers in the back, will it look good? I plan to get it lowered more eventually (im 15, and my dad drives the car, so when I start driving it, i want it lower). Once I lower it (w/ spacers in back) i plan for it to have a staggered look. The front wheel would tuck just under the fender and the rear wheel would be flush or sticking out slightly with the fender just millimeters over the tire. Good or bad?

Oh and yes you will be fine with a 25mm spacer in the rear with those specs. You might need to run narrower tires though.

Looks good, definitely get the OTG rear shims or 25mm spacers. Are the tires 245s?! Look more like 225s or 215s.

running those spacers will give a 15mm difference visually between the front and the back... That may look a bit goofy when running the same wheels F&R. If you're running staggered rims (say 7.5s F and 9s R) it would look great, but then you'd still ony want a 10mm shim back there.

Check www.tunershop.com for some cool options for staggering widths/offsets.

OOPS! Hehehe, yes the tires are 205's not 245's. My mistake. And @ bBOXD, im a big fan of drifting and the Sil80 used to be my favorite car, so I made the name driftersil80 and its been a forum name ever since. I dont really have a Sil-80

You'll be fine. On a side note. Why not put the stock springs and tires on it while your dad is driving it. I'd save that stuff till iy becomes your ride. That way you wouldn't have to worry about the parts getting accidentally messed up meanwhile. But thats just me.

Cuz my dad enjoys a nice ride too! LOL. But really, tires are no big deal. So are rims. I can always buy new ones. And my coilovers will be fine unless my dad gets in an accident.

I'm sure he does.
I've had friends that let their parents drive their cars and damage them and blow it off as no big deal. Just looking out for you and letting you know what I would do if it were me. I hope it works out for ya.

Thanks! I totally understand what you are saying. But I guess my last point is, my dad bought the car and all (coilovers, wheels, tires, grille, system etc...) its parts, so they ARE rightfully his. Yea yea I know spoiled little boy. Ill be getting a job and buying my own parts soon enough though!

Oh, OK now I get it. I thought you bought everything and was just letting him drive it in the meantime. It's all good, hopefully he'll take good care of it till it becomes yours.
