mixing stock springs and tein s-techs
OK..... have been riding on s-techs for about 9months now.... in early Nov i got a new stereo / speaker set up.... which is pretty heavy.. and now causing the rear to sag noticably lower than the front....
Im thinking about putting the stock rear springs in and keeping the front s-techs in.... i'm hoping at minimum this will make my car appear level if not put the natural rake w/front being lower than back...
has anyone else done this or similar??? does mixing/matching springs really mess up handling or other wise affect the ride ?? i forget what the normal springs feel like.. cant remember if it will be more or less bouncy in the rear... but... think the appearance will be better with the rear not sagging the way it is..... looks like my car needs to drop a load

I used to run my old XB with stock springs in the rear, and Tanabe D series in the front. The ride did change but not much. I did it because of the heavy stereo I had in the rear. It dosen't look bad because with all the stereo stuff. The car looks like it has a drop anyway because of the added weight. Here is a pic of my old car with the stock springs on the rear: http://www.imagestation.com/picture/...3/f72ba8b0.jpg
