Default Where are the front bump stops in the xB?

ok so when i lowered my ride, i swear i looked all over and couldn't find the bump stops - tanabe was nice enough to even include replacement one's so i wouldn't have to cut the stock ones...

but i can't find them... are they *inside* the strut assembly? that's the only thing i could think of, i know some struts have the stops internal...

someone wanna help me out ?

how many of you lowered your xB's without modifying your bump stops at all?

the box rides fine, but i'm sure the extra suspension travel would make the big bumps a little smoother...

thanks!

the bump stops are located on the threaded end of the strut under the top spring hat. They are about 2" long and made of foam. I dont like to cut them in fear of over compressing the strut if you hit something like a bigass pot hole.

Which tanabe springs? 2" or 1"?Do you have the springs installed? If so, how is the ride?

They should have just been there when you took apart the strut assembly. Mine just fell out when I installed my Eibach, and my springs came with new bump stops too.

i have the 2" tanabe's - the ride is nice, a little bouncy but smoother than stock, and it takes corners like a **** now!

so far i haven't noticed any problems with bottoming out - when i have a chance i guess i'll take the struts out and put the tanabe supplied bump stops in and see if i even notice a difference, i'll post if i do.

thanks for the help!!
