Right now I have the old school blue TRD strut bar

Is the new one any better?

According to the "newschool" link, I have an inferior browser. That's funny since I am a professional web developer and use this browser for debugging everything.

As for the part differences, the functionality is about the same (if not is). Those bars don't do much outside of what they are built for. You may have better fitment with one vs. the other. Outside of that, who knows.
