Default Non factory fogs?

Anyone out there mounted non-factory fog lights? How did they look and where di you put them? I was looking at some cheapies at Wally World and was wondering if I would like them. Thanks. Mark

Got these from JC Whitney. They are SAE approved, and I am happy with the looks of them (which is what matters) and they are street legal. They almost go unnoticed, because they are in the bottom grill, and they are black. I bought the xB to be different, so PE mods are the way I like to go. I used factory plug-in relay and switch, and just tied into wiring for OEM fogs. Even left the OEM plugs on the wire so I could go to OEM if I wanted to later. Good luck. PM me if you have any questions. Enjoy thinking outside the BOX.

They look nice, I was hoping to do something like that. Not sure what lamps I will use yet but I would like to add some. Mark

I used to have almost the same setup a while ago.

Using the factory plug-in relay (purchased from sparkstoyota.com), as I did; you plug in the relay and switch like it says in the xB foglights install (very good instructions)(also available on sparkstoyota.com for foglight install), since all the wiring is already there. Then just extend off the end of the existing fog light plugs to whatever foglights you have decided to use.
