what brake fluid, and a ? on endless pads
OK I am trying to choose between ATE blue & Motul brake fluid....
which one would be better for everyday use w/ the occasional trip to the track? Also if I go with Motul should I grab the 5.1 or the RBF? The RBF is listed as more track use and needs to be changed regulary (how often would this be?)...
Then I have been looking at the endless website (for brake pads) and I am leaning on the Super Street Y pads but I dont see a listing for the xb, should I be looking under a different vehicle (like the echo or something)??
then who has the cheapest SS brake lines??

I'd go with some Porterfield RS4 pads for the front... they offer them and are listed under the XB.
They were the best street pad we found for the 300Zs we used to race.
Motul 5.1 will be just fine... RBF is good for systems that are flushed often... not something you'll want to do on your street car (i hope!)
Not sure about SS lines. Probably not something you want to "cheap" on... figure on about $100-$110 for the front two lines.
And one other note... we found that the OEM Nissan rotors out performed all of the aftermarket "slotted, drilled, slotted/drilled" choices for the stock sizes. No need to spend $$$ where it's not needed!

thx for the info BB, I was looking at the endless brakes but I am thinking I will just go with the porterfield (need to get some for the Merc too).... Also good info on the brake fluid, I was thinking this would be the best bet since I dont want to be changing out the fluid every few months...
the ATE or the Motul are both great choices and are very much streetable. you can't really go wrong with either. personally, I'd lean more towards the ATE since the can is larger and if you're careful you'll only need 1 can vs. Motul where you'd probably need several bottles to flush an entire system.
