OK guys, i need new rims because my other bronze 17's are pretty dinged up because i bought them used. I found this great deal at pepboys and they are 17's at $380 for all four but they are not bronze. Should i buy these and paint them bronze and how would i do that?? Does anybody else have suggestions on buying JUST RIMS because i have tires already. And they have to be under at least $400 for all four because im looking to buy my bodykit too!! Please give me help!!!
ok I bought mine of of Ebay they are ADR 17x7 Mine are Black, but you could have painted Bronze for probaly $100 , Not sure just check around but black would look banging too me on the blue , but its your choice , I Won them for $177.50 and shipping was $135.00 so thats $312.50 is what I paid total , I live in Ga and I got them from Cali in 4 days , Freakin fast The wheels are new not used and are sweet , check my profile and I have a pic of them , Im waiting on my tires to come in to istall
I hope this helps!Russ

the rims that im thinking about buyin are just like yours!!! Im just scared to buy them on ebay. Ithink im just going to go ahead and buy the rims at pepboys and paint them with me and my dad. How do you think i should paint them???
Well as for Ebay I buy and sale stuff on there all the time , but thats your choice just wanted to let you know you can get great deals there, but as for painting, any auto parts shop should carry the kind of paint you will need , or mabey even a body shop,
Just make sure you get them cleaned enuff that the new paint will stick, and Take your time, dont get in a rush ,or the job will come out crappy and will only look good from a distance, But if it were me I would have them professionally done ,It shouldnt cost you much and the wheels will be just like factory finish , Just call around and ask for quotes before you start it on your own , you might be suprised , My buddy had his powdered coated blue and man they look so dang good , and he has had the wheels for like over 2 years and they still look new , and he got all four done for like $135.00
tops, Well money spent , Plus the place told him if they ever start to chip or fade bring them back and we will redo them for free , plus power coating works so well and is so strong, I know for a fact because , my son Races motocross and we get alot of wheels and parts painted that way and they last forever under harsh conditions .
But if you do it yourself like I said Take your time and make them look good
and mabey post another thread just asking about painting wheels , some one on here has done before I know, plus I 've heard you can rent a powder coating system and do it yourself, and keep me updated I want to see the finish project !, Russ
