It's a good thing you asked! All Rotas are knockoffs of something else. Not necessarily a bad thing, they can be a good cheap alternative.
Just get what you like, but do a lot of research first, so you know what you're getting....good luck on your wheel search

rotas are NOT only for hondas yo...i mean the Mugen rims are kinda honda ish, but rota makes TONS of WRX and rims for other cars....so what if our lug patter is the same as another popular import company...

"The mugen wheels are kinda hondaish" Don't you think that's a little bit of an understatement? Perhaps you need a little history lesson. Why don't you try looking up "Mugen". Anyone who knows anything about automotive aftermarket history can tell you who they are.
Believe me, i've been in the game for a long time and I know all about Rotas--I'm not saying that Rotas = Honda wheels. So get your panties out of a bunch.
But if you are going to say that the MUGEN M7s / MUGEN RnRs belong on anything BUT a honda--you are just clowning yourself.
