Default 225/35/17 Will they rub?

Does anyone think these tires will rub if I'm running 17x8.5" wheels +25 offset

along with Tanabe df210's? Any help would be appreciated.

Try mounting them up.

you can go as narrow as 215 on an 8.5" wide wheel and not have a stretch.

So 215's wouldn't be a stretch then? I thought I saw a post with 215's on an 8.5"

wheel and looked like there was a stretch, I could be wrong though. thanks for the info.

Wait, I'm wrong. 215's will have a slight stretch. 225 is your minimum width you can pick if you don't want stretch.

I think they will scrub forsure, I mounted that size on mine from a buddies car because i wanted to run that size tire, and they rubed like hell the rims were 17x8 and I think a 35 offset I bet if you run 215 you will get a good stretch, or 205 45 will even be better but lot less rubber, I run 205 /40/17 on mine and the rubber is thin but I like the look and it rides pretty descent , but I watch out for potholes forsure to protect the rims , Im also lowered on Tein Tech S springs ,
Hope this helps, Russ

when i do get rims on my car which will be a while cause the current tread is still pretty deep. i was looking at 17x7.5 w/ a 38mm offset wrapped in 215/40/17 and i have done some research. its really really close to stock diameter. i m just hopin i wont have problems w/ rubbing
