ok I was running a 3 gal cause it would fit where the spare was in the xA. Well even when I had just the rear bags in everytime I would air up the compresor would cut on. So know that I have the front on I had to put in a 5 a 3 just will not cut it.
the size ot tank depends on how much you plan on playing with the switches. I only got air to show off when parked. I almost never throw the switches just to do it or whatever. I only raise the car and drive. And for that, the 3 gallon was more than enuf. It has enuf air capacity to raise the car 3 to 4 times before it is empty. However, with the compressor ready, it will run for about 30 seconds after I lift once. Not enuf to worry about. But if you plan on throwing the switches ...even a little bit i would get as bug of one you can fit in the position you want to place it.
If you are like me you can learn to conserve air. Such as For my PT Cruiser it only took 80 PSI to full lift in front and 60 in the rear. ( 50 - 40 are ride hight) So pumping 100 psi in them is pointless and wasts pressure.
MY pt...... nothing special...... and about to be gone...... http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/708110
