Seven Spokes

Opinions on the widest tire that would run on a 15x6 Alloy?
Would 205x55R15 work?

205's are a little on the wide side but will work. 15x6" is the stock wheel size so why not just use your stock tires? If you need to buy tires I'd go up to a 195/55R15.

Thanks for your reply. I have the stock tires on now but would like to go wider . I'd think it would track better and the 185's just seem small.

I thought the stock wheel size was 15x6.5?

These are the Seven Spoke wheels not the stock " steelies"
The size is stamped into the reverse side (15x6)

FYI, you can run 215/50R15's as they will fit under the fenders without rubbing, and have a rim width range of 6.00 to 7.50 inches!

Thanks! I'm suprised to find that a 215 would run on a rim that narrow.

I run 205/55/15 on a 15x7 rim, with a low offset, I'm also lowered on tanabe df210 and I didn't rub until I put OTG shims.

Any opinions on 225/50 /15 ? 40mm over stock tire width ?

Im not sure I know with 205 I'm already rubbing the passenger side rear fender well. It doesn't do it now that I took the OTG spacers off but its damn close...

Yea I feel like it gets lower everyday, lol. Yea its approx. 2" but I cannot go into driveways without scraping the front lip, I can atleast go over speed bumps or I would take them off

Thanks again but I'm working with the seven spoke alloy option wheels. 15x6 The ride is OK but the tire just looks too small for the car. Thought I'd try running a wider tire b/4 going the 18' + route.

I am trying to sell my 17" they are just to heavy for the little added turning ability, I am going to keep my 15x7 for a while now... I like the look of the 205/50/15 it looks good only if it didnt rub...

New springs that might limit the drop to 1.5" out back might be cheaper. I've also seen others who made a few adjustments to the plastic wheel tubs on the rears.
It looks great though!
