I have Tein S-tech springs and 17 in rims. All my buddies are honda drivers and claim that I absolutely need a camber kit. Would I with only a 1.5 in drop?

 

No. Just tell them it's a Toyota =p

A front camber kit isn't necessary, what you will need is a front wheel alignment about 2 weeks after the install to correct any toe issues.

 

XBBB did you get a camber kit or not? I would also like to know if you went with the camber kit. I researched and found nothing really consistant that states that you would need it. Post back and let us know!

 

No i didnt get a camber kit. It drives fine and i dont think that it is necessary.

Camber not necessary. Alignment is.

Take it to a GOOD Alignment shop and do what they say needs done. If it is a GOOD shop they will have the kits you need instock!

 

ok I have about a 4 inch drop on my xB with cut stock springs, the driver front tire shows a lot of wear on the inside edge of the tire, is this alignment or camber? The other tires don't show any adnormal wear. Thanx for the help.

and Espelir springs before that

never needed and alignment
i measured it both times (on an alignment rack--i werk @ a dealership)
drives straight...steering wheel is straight
40,000miles and no wierd tire wear

guess i am just lucky

 

10k miles, 2" drop since day 1, no uneven wear, drives great, I dont hit curbs though, that is what sets the alignment off....

 

there is a camber kit on ebay for like 99 cents plus like 15 bucks shipping.. is this worth the 15.99?? i guess from what u guyz say there isnt much tire wear..
