Default whatcha think of these wheels

saw these gunmetal wheels today and I think I'm in love.

just wondering what color box they would look best on... BCP, Shadow Mica, or BSP. Actually, they would probably look really clean on white as well.

Can anyone that has seen the Shadow Mica in person tell me if they are about the same color as gunmetal? All the pix I have seen of SM seem REALLY dark almost BSP.

These would look great on Camo (too bad they don't make it anymore)

Anybody with pix of gunmetal wheels on any color, it'd be great if you posted

Thanks

I like em! Wouldn't put them on a BSP though. I prefer either looking dead-on to the car color or extreme contrast.

I like the design, but I would say no to the Wheelmax housebrand unless you want a bent wheel.

If I'm not mistaken, I believe those wheels are "Excel" brand... I know a few people who have them (not that style, just excel wheels in general) , and every one of them has a bent lip. I know some places have some pretty bad potholes, but a friend of mine hit the same huge hole right behind me with his 93 prelude on 17" excels. At the time I had a focus with 18" konig holes. My wheels were fine, his wheel required some... shall we say..."reshaping". And I had considerably less sidewall than he did. They are pretty, but I would def worry about quality....

I dunno, anyone else have any experience with excel wheels?

I have seen the Shadow Mica in person. Its my personal fav and will be getting mine soon. It all depends in what the lighting is when you are looking at it. It has a greenish color flake, so in the sun its nice and shiny. You are right it does look like BSP in alot of pics.

My wheels are Hyper Black, but they look pretty close to gunmetal. I like'em.
The Shadow Mica looks almost black at night. and the metal flake is awesome.

Here are the same wheels in 18 x 7.5, but in hyper silver. I love em. Have had a lot of compliments on them, but yeah, they are a "cliche" style. HTH
