Default Just got new wheels - Need help with tire pressure

Hi
Ijust got my tires and wheels

16" 205/50 16. The door says 29 lbs. but I heard to go higher

what gives. My factory wheels were at 34...

what should I run for pressure

There is no exact number to set yoru pressure to. 32 psi usually works pretty well. Closer to 29 will give you better ride quality/cushion. Closer to 34 will stiffen it up a bit, but likely provide better mileage.

I can't even keep up with all your posts.
Burn a nice even flame for a long time, don't flame out.
Tire pressure for the car is posted in the drivers door jam.
29=softest ride
32=an even stiffer ride
Lets see the wheels & rubber.

I have the same setup you have. The factory specified 29 psi seems to work just fine. The ride is decent and I'm getting no funny tire wear.

With the stiffer sidewall and wider footprtint the 205/50/16 has over the 185/60/15, you could even safely drop the pressure a pound or two from 29 psi to soften up things more if you want.
