steering wheel shakes a lot
does anybody have this problem? I put the rims on my car and the steering wheel shakes alot. With the stock tires it doesnt shake nearly as much. should i get an alignment possibly or what could be causing this?
The wheels aren't balanced right.........
When i bought new 17 inch rims.. I had the same problem... I had the wheels balanced three times, each from a different shop and it still happened at speeds over 70 mph.....
So i came to the conclusion that
a. It was the rims who were messed up
b. the cheap kumho tires were the problem
Either way, it sucked and I was sick of the vibrations, plus my MPG dropped about 5mpg's on average.. instead of 30-32.. i was getting 23-26 on average.... I put stocks back on and now I'm happy... Now i have these espensive Konigs sitting in storage...

REcheck your lugs also. Mine does that now and I bought some hub rings. They were $10 from ebay. Once I get those on I will move to the next possible sloution if it doesnt get any better.
