Default Koni rear shock noise

I just installed the rear Konis today, dialed in 1 full circle from soft. I found the ride and handling is so much better. I also found that now when I drive over uneven pavement, I heard this noise that sound like "compressing air" hissing sound. It sounds like when you compress and release the shocks. I didn't hear this with the stock shocks so I don't know if this is normal. I know many of you guys have rear konis, can you tell me if you hear this noise? I hear it on both rear shocks. Thanks

BTW. This is my second set of rear because mine was defective when I bought it brand new. I just got the replacement.

Thanks for replying, I’m so worry that the shock is bad again. I only had the shocks on for 3 days so I'll see what happen in a few days. I’ve had the worst luck with mods.

Ive had my koni shocks for about 6 months and i live in Puerto Rico, where the potholes are CRATERS, and i still have the hissing noise from the rear shocks ive just decided to cancel it out with some music. My sound never went away but i dont think you should have any problems. By the way, i race my car regularly on circuit tracks, so i i don thtink the hissing sound should be a problem.
