Default Can I fit these rims and tires.

Allright I found some 17x8 front and 17x9 rear wheels on a +35 offset. I want to use my 215/40/17 tires. Will this work out? Thanks in advance. I'm pretty poor so this is the only way I can offord that bip style, kinda. If I had enough money I would be buying Larry Flints Euroline DH's that are almost brand new!!! But that kinda money I aint gots. I'm just another poor Airman trying to make it.

I would highly recommend getting a different tire for the rear. Hopefully you can find something in the same brand. Because even if you get the 215 to stretch on the 9" wheel it is going to look funny when compared to the front. You will have more stretch and a shorter sidewall in the rear compared to the front.

Assuming the wheels you want will work, and that you can reuse the 215/40s I would see if the tire brand and style you have are available in a 225/40 or 235/35, Unfortunately both of those sizes can be pretty tough to find. Especially if you are trying to match them to another tire size in the same brand and model tire.

Good luck though.

225/40/17 is very common size now. The big problem is that you're going to need to really need to space those rear wheels. I've got RH C5s (somebody correct me, but I think the offset is 40)on my box, with no spacers. The tires are a 215, and the rim is a 7.5", and I've only got about 1/2 an inch on the inside of the rear. Anything bigger will rub the inside.
a 215 stretched over a 9" rim sounds wierd to me. With the stuff you're talking about, you've got about 2" of space you're going to need to make in the rear...unless you've found some really badass staggereds with massive negative offsets, in which case--post some pics when you get them on!!
