What does everyone think about the toyota lowering kit....????Is it worth it does it really make a difference????Anyone have any pictures with and without.....Also how much did you pay toyota for the install set aside from the $250 springs?

Which ones are you looking at? Try www.newscionparts.com

The springs are $210 if you are talking TRD. The only advantage in having the dealer install is you are covered for warranty issues. I personally have Tein S springs that cost about $175 and were installed pretty cheap at a local tuner shop.

I would imagine the springs are still covered under warranty also what was the mm drop with those springs??????

TRD is funny, if the dealer installs the dealer warrants. If you install the TRD you have to go through TRD for warranty. The Teins drop 1.5 inches

yea the trd drops them 30mm any idea what that is converted in inches?

Yes. I had the TRD Lowering Springs for a very long time on my 04 xb. Then sold them to get Megan Racing lowering springs.

I remember getting the TRD Springs for 169 dollars from carson scion, the only springs available in June 03. Installed them in the garage. They did make the car handle better. It's a decent drop 1.1 inch.
