Yes.

Your car is painted underneath that tape.

I think it makes the cars look better... more color but the one argument against it is that you lose the look of having one sort of long rectangular window across the side of the car...

Go for it... just not in the winter when I did it... MUCH MUCH MUCH faster in the summer... all you need is a hair dryer, goo gone and some decent finger nails.

Pull off the rubber stripping around the windows and there are 6 strips total... if I remember correctly.

get a heat gun or hair dryer, makes it go much faster... any car with tape on the window pillars can have the tape removed, the pillars are painted and cleared under the tape. be sure to have some bug & tar remover on hand as well for the glue. good luch, took me a hell of a long time to take mine off all 4 doors.

I have a little line of black tape still I have tried tweezers which im still gonna keep trying to pull it out but anyone know of a better way to get rid of it? Also it looks 10x better with the ___ tape off! Thanks for post!

I took the door sill trim off too. That made it easier for me it only took me about 35 mins on a 80 degree day and I didnt even need any goop remover.
