CF fenders.. what do we think about them???
so if anybody else seen my post in the owners lounge you'll notice some ___ hit my fender and took off
so i seen some CF fenders and thought ehhh this might be cool becasue i wouldnt have to paint them
but then im wondering how they would look with just the CF fneders
i want to get a CF hood down the line but not right at this moment
so does anybody have CF fenders and if so can you post up a pic?
what does everybody think about these? Just dont say you hate them, if you do give me a reason why
thanks!

That is exactly what I want to do with my fenders. Personally I wouldn't do it to a green colored car such as yours until i've seen how it looks. If my bodyshop allows it I will not hesitate to do so.
You can always get them, and if your not happy with the color, paint em.
Do a search for them and I bet you can find some pics...Maybe not in RS3.0 colors but white and whatnot.
I think they look nice depending on the amount of carbon youll be using. Maybe fenders, hood, mirrors and some rear parts and it would look sharp. Maybe darker wheels to have it blend in some with the green.

I think this is my only slightly negative post on sl. I am really not a big fan of that. I think if you go with the cf you have to go big or go home. IMO it looks like it is too riced up? sometimes you just have to realize you can't force things into a car. I really wanted a flame job on mine but after many concept drawings and looking at others I found that I just could force them in. It is like you are looking a a great piece of art and come to terms that it would be awesome if they just left that one piece out. if you do end up going the CF route you should look at ground effects, graphics, lowering, and wheels. that is a lot to invest into a "non-show" car.. I guess I also have to say that it is just my opinion and I am more of an old school kustom car fan, and a minimalist.. Good luck!

P.S. I like the layout of your site..

The CF hood would look fine, even nice, despite it not being my taste. However I do not like the look of the CF Fenders with the hood, because you can't do anything with the bumper, and thats what throws the whole picture off and makes your car look unfinished ..
It looks like you need something to blend the CF fenders into the Green paint, Custom paint a black graphic that breaks up the strong vertical line the CF fender creates. Also something for the front fender, a stripe or point. I don't have the answer exactly, just need to eliminate the stark contract of the body panels.
