Unhappy tC vs Rail = tC lose!! UPDATED WITH PICS FIXED!!!

Well a couple days ago I fell asleep at the wheel and hit a guard rail. Well I need a new front and rear bumper, side skirt, two new Enkei RPF1's, door, tie-rod, front and rear fenders.. I was wondering if I would need a receipt for the purchase of my wheels for the insurance company cause I lost mine lol, and I have a after-market steering wheel on my car so would that be a problem if nothing on the inside is hurt just the outside body damage, like would they say something about that. Thanks guys and i'll upload some pics of the damage later..

:?

Just got her back... on with the Drag DR-33's

Sorry to hear that.
they might just pay you the value of the stock wheel. which is $400 a piece at the dealership.
but you have to talk to the adjuster. or the people that estimate the damage.
can you bring it to the a bodyshop that u know? and also accept your insurance ? The shop might able to work something out with you.

Do you have a body kit on the tc?

Hey sry guys I've been busy getting everything together. The adjuster is going to come by this evening and I will post pics up after he leaves. That would kind of help me if they just payed for two stock wheels. It'd be more money in my pocket because the body shop I always use would just order me two more rpf1's and stick the other money in my pocket if they are $400 a wheel compared to $238 a wheel for my rpf1's.

We know you are well and the car is hanging in there, but the one question that hasn't been asked and needs an answer is.....

Is the rail OK???

Yes the rail survived lol.. Dad took it to the shop earlier than I expected so no pics, but I will be selling (2) Enkei RPF1's / Black / 17x8 5:100 .. The "undamaged" ones and if anyone wants the damaged ones I can sell them for hardley anything.. I will post pics of them in the FS Thread as soon as I get the car back, I am putting (4) New Drag DR-33 wheels / Black / 17's on it now. I got all four of them for the price of 2 of the RPF1's and I wanted to switch it up a bit. But thanks for the comments guys and I will update it with pics as soon as it gets back in my precious hands lol.

When my 07 tC was in the shop when it got hit in the rear quarter panel I stopped by to check on the progress once and snapped pics. I should have stopped by everyday as after paint I was called to pick it up and noticed the gap above the taillight was out of tolerance by a hair. That should have been caught BEFORE paint.

If I ever get sleepy behind the wheel I pull over at the nearest gas station and get out the car and chill in the store for a moment, get something to snack on some chips or so. I haven't tried any energy drinks or energy shots but sounds like something to get. It's better to get off the road than have an accident happen.

Yeah I wasn't thinking clearly.. I always say pull over to my friends or call me if they get sleepy, but I didn't listen to myself and thought I could stay awake enough, but I was wrong and I have been trying to show this as an example to them so that they know I am only a call away. Thanks for your input too.
