PTAP's Project Scion Shaved and Laid!
PTAP/Autowerks is a shop located in Georgia; they are going to take this Scion to another level. It only has 18 miles on it, but is already torn apart and on its way to being an ultimate show vehicle.
We both work in the mini truck industry and see all kinds of cool customizations, but I will say that this will probably be my favorite. He is going to keep updates coming so we will post them as we get them.
Some modifications include shaved door handles, shaved marker lights, air ride, and extensive suspension modifications that allow it to lay body on the ground.
If you have any questions please feel free to call him, 706-563-1210 ask for Jimmy the red neck. (These are his own words, lol.)

I'm not sure of final color, but I'm guessing wicked graphics. As for drivetrain mods, they have had to raise the strut towers and remove the power steering to get the front to lay the crossmember so far, and the entire rear floor will have to be raised and tubbed to clear the wheels. The rear trailing arm assembly was lengthened so the wheels lay centered in the wells. These guys have built several show cars and trucks, including cover features for Minitruckin' and Import Tuner, so I'm guessing they're going to eclipse anything that the Scion world has seen in America so far. I'm stoked to see it done, but I'm super jealous as well!

I'm not sure what exhaust they are going to go with, but hey Stylis you could always give them a call and see if they are intrested in what you are developing. It could be a way to get some coverage for yourself when it is featured in a magazine, maybe you could work something out with them.
Whatever they go with, it is going to have to be a custom job since the are modifing the car so much.

Wow, that looks sick... That 19" are really tucked under the fender. Any pics of the rear fender with the door open? I would like to see how you guys dealt with the rear fender since the wheel well is also part of the rear Door Jams.
James with PTAP sent us some more pictures of their Project Scion. He added cross drilled and slotted rotors to the front and the rear of the vehicle. I will see what I can do about getting some pictures of the inside of the rear door area. Right now we are just happy to get updates from him when he gets a chance to email them to us. This ride is going to be sick...now the race is on to see who can get onto the cover of a magazine faster! ; )
A little friendly competition never hurt anybody.

I posted the pics of the rotors on our webshots account.

Vicki, it must be nice to have the resources and the skillz to customize these boxes. They look really tricked on Bags/paintjob/right size wheels.
I can't wait to see Boxzila on bags in person... Mini-meet in Sac anyone?
