Default Monroe Sensatrac shocks + TRD Springs = good combo?

k...l got a bone-stock 06 SSM xA, looking to tint the windows soon, then focus on the suspension as my initial mods...

looking to combine the Monroes w/ TRD springs...for those that have lowered their xA's, will that combo be good for improving ride, cornering, etc?

thanx...not really a "car guy", just someone looking to make my great lil car that much better...

I would go for Tein's (H for softer ride, S for sportier) & Monroes instead~

Are you looking for a smoother ride?, then go with the monroe's front/rear. Now, to improve the handling the rear anti sway bar is a MUST. For a lowered stance and maybe smoother ride quality I'd go with the eibach pro-kit springs(progressive spring rates).

FYI, the TRD springs are stiff IMHO, check the spring rate sticky

thanx for the feedback...yeah, pretty much looking for a smoother ride, a good compromise between performance & comfort...

debating between the Tein S or H @ this point...

FYI, I replaced the rear shocks with the monroe's and my next step is to replace the front struts with monroe's using the stock springs. The rear anti-sway bar will be the progress auto or TRD. I just checked out the front anti sway bar and it looks pretty big/beefy already.

For the softest ride possible on a budget, I'd say Monroe Sensa Tracs with Tein H-Techs is the best combo.
