Default Anyone have fitment issues with OTG hub shims?

I ordered a set of 17x7.5 wheels from victoria tire with 205/40-17 tires (I know, 215/40 would be ideal, but too late for that). They told me that I should take off the shims before installing. I think he thought I had wheel spacers, and was thinking of tightening issues with those. Any problems I'm not aware of? The wheels are NOT staggered offset. Thanks,

KJ

That's what I thought, but I just wanted to be sure. I assume that if the fronts don't rub, the rears won't rub with the hub shims?
