Default TRD sway bar installed on RS 1.0 - Wow!

I just installed the TRD sway bar (Thanks Ken at Sparks!) and like others have said it is a very worth while mod.

I already have TRD springs and the the RS 1.0 comes with 17" wheels with 205/40/17 Yoko Avus tires so I didn't expect THAT much of a difference. To my surprise the sway bar improves handling a LOT. The rear end holds much better than before and turn-in is quicker. It also feels a lot more stable in sweeping turns like off ramps. In tight turns the body roll is much less too.

The install took 15 minutes taking my time. I used ramps to lift the car which made the install easy. A nice little bonus is that the red bar matches the Absolutly Red paint nicely.
:D

the progress bar and the TRD bar are the same thickness. 22mm if I remember correctly. The TRD rear sway bar kicks ___, I put one on my xB about 2 weeks ago.

Yup, as stated above it's 22mm.

The red finish is a nice touch. I could see part of the bar through the wheel when I was walking up to my car at lunch today.

Unclear as to which bar you added? Front or rear or both? Thanks!

I installed the rear bar only. I already had the TRD springs. Other than OTG hub spacers the rest of the suspension is stock.

The Hotchkis bar is smaller diameter because the "Rear bar is a add on bar and is designed to work in conjunction with factory rear bar."

I understand the TRD and Progress are also add on bars.. But I believe the Hotchkis to attach to the chassis?? Not sure..

anyone?
