Default Decals on the windows or keeping it clean?

I have a website where I slang my music from and I was thinking about putting the url on my back window as a decal, but I'm just wondering what peoples opinions are on doing stuff like that. I have a friend who's against any kind of decals - he says "keep it clean" - and then I have some friends who represent with decals with all the different mods they've done.

Also, if I DO get the decal, I found some sites online where you can order custom ones, but are there any places people have gone to in the socal area where I can go in person and get it done?

Usually any sign shops will die cut stickers for you...just make sure that it is 5 year or 7 year vinyl.

I have kept mine clean so far, but I have an envelope full of stickers that are going to go on the side skirts once I finish the mods that are on my to do list. It will still be 'clean though"...only on the side skirts...and only die cut black stickers...all of similar size.

if u ask me... keep it moderate...i like the fact that we can use our xB as a mobile billboard...but i've seen overly stickered xB...and it's not that pleasing to the eye...

keep it moderate and simple...u can still have a clean look with moderate amount of stickers..all depends where u put them and the colors...

but having no sticker is so bland..u gotta express urself..that's what scion is about...

i will rock my "Randode Racing" stickers, or the name of my family business where I work, but will not advertise for a part that I have to buy.

Decals are attention-getters. How much attention (desirable and undesirable) do you want? Cars with lots of stickers and other bling-bling tend to be cop-magnets. Of course "Support Your Local Police" might mitigate this a bit!

The only sticker I want for my xB:

1. No, it's not electric.
2. It's made by Toyota.
3. Yes, it looks like a box.
4. It's been out since June.
5. No, it's not an Element.
6. It's pronounced "Sigh-on".
7. No, I don't deliver mail.
8. It cost about $15,000.
9. Yes, everything you see is standard.
10. No, I don't sell ice cream.

AEM baby!!! I've seen like 2 or 3 scions that are stock w/o plates and they run the AEM sticker. I've got the scion.com sticker, (long one and free, thanx adrian) in the rear window on the inside so it's hard to see during the day but at night, the neon from my subs make it look sick as hell. Just don't be putting up dumb, played out ones like "powered by..." or ugly band stickers all over the place, I hate those.

Maybe you can ****** a Toyota Preus' Hybrid emblem or you can get a sticker with either "Duracell inside" or "Energyzer bunny inside"

Randode, you wont rock stickers for parts you have to buy...but you are hoping that others will rock Randode stickers for parts that THEY have to buy..hell, they even had to pay for the STICKERS!

I have no problem putting stickers on my car for parts that I bought....people want something that doesnt look stock...and you can spend thousands on engine mods and the car will still look stock...unless you advertise your upgrades with some stickers.

you know that if you give someone a sticker, they will put it on their car.

Y would you put performance stickers on your car if you don't have the product though? I think that's a lot worse than paying for the product and putting their sticker on. Randy's cool and all, but would you put a sticker that said "Drag Turbo Kits" and only be running a muffler. You know the kinda ____ people would put down on you. I'd represent him, but I haven't been to a meet in so long I don't even know what products he has now. Plus I like what others dont't have and there are already people with his stickers who don't have any products, just like the bbist stickers.

Did anyone see those Mischief movies. One guy has a mustang, in a car show, and has stickers that say typeR and Rotary Powered. And the guy admits that it's a special edition rotary mustang that his brother put together. It's not right.

Don't mean to offend.

I do not usually sport stickers for products that I do not have...however...The randode racing sticker does not say "randode super chargers".

Instead, it is more an advertisement to help out a friend. A scion owner may see the randode racing sticker on a scion, and therefor visit the websight...

I hear ya, but if I wanted to help out friends, I'd have the entire car filled with stickers cuz they all sell products. I'm just talking about stuff like everyone sticking on a blitz, greddy, or turbonetics stickers when all they have is the shift **** or just bought a light bulb and got the sticker. It's fine to advertise, but soon enough it's gunna catch up to you. Guys pulling up left and right reving all over the place cuz you've got a friends sticker but nothing under the hood to show for it. I learned my lesson from having the asian symbol stickers and the nitrous/turbo stickers but I actually had those products and the symbols actually meant something at the time. I guess it's just territorial but I have the worst luck with people seeing my car and wanting to go at it. Why is it never the girls that want to go at it?

A few are fine. To much is overkill (Depending). It's your car. You express yourself through your car so you can put whatever decals you want on it. I kept mine simple with the ScionLife Decal in the rear right and a very small independent cross in the rear window.

It's all a matter of your own personal taste. I happen to be one of them "keep it clean" types and I wouldn't put stickers anywhere on my vehicle... not even the AEM CAI sticker if i had CAI.
