Ok...So its that time. Ive decided I want to lower my Box, 1.5 - 2"..... any recommendations for springs...drop kits.... or shops to have it done at....would be greatly appreciated. I was looking for somewwhere in the OC...as I live in Anaheim.
I heard Super Autobacs in Stanton was a hit and miss.
Also does anyone know if lowering the car will void out the factory warranty...I went with the nice 7 year extended warr. and I dont want to f*ck myself by lowering it.....maybe I should just go with bigger rims

your warranty will not be voided. only if there is a problem and Toyota can PROVE that the problem resulted from your modifications (i.e. - throwing a rod is not a result of changing your springs).
bigger rims actually will not make your car look lowered, it will raise your car even more.
i would go with Tein S-Techs in your situation. I am partial to Tein though.
Coilovers would be awesome if you have the funds for them. Again, I would go with Tein.

Also, I would suggest not taking it to a shop...just buy the springs, get some buddies together, and follow the DIY. I've helped on 4 tC's, and I hear the Boxes are much easier. Plus it's pretty fun too. Not too sure how easy the coilovers are though.

Contact Island Motorsports in Buena Park for lowering you xB. (714) 522-7457. They do tons of Scions over there. DOnt worry about your warrinty and lowering your car. Its just a spring, whats gonna happen? And you can always put the stock springs back on.
I don't know of any shops down there for a simple install, but I can recommend using Tanabe DF210 springs. We installed these along with 18s and 215/35/18s on my wife's xB and it rides great. It provided a 2" drop, better handling and almost as good of a ride. Not to mention the huge difference it made in the look of the car.
