Default Wheel and handling questions 05 Camo on 18's ...

I recently bought a 05 Camo XB from the same dealer i bought my TC from (actually traded in the TC on it) and it had a AEM intake and some fair condition 18's (few scrapes and bruises on them) a strut bar and a few other minor interior mods....
anyways i feel like when there is a line in the road or anything that could grab the tire it does and sometimes violently pulling one way until i hit a bump or the road completely smooths out and then it will get back on track.
Next when i first got it and took it on the highway of course i wanted to see what it could do so i hit 80 ish on the highway and it started shaking the steering wheel really bad so next day i took it back and they fixed the balance and i was on my way .... no shaking on the highway .
now after driving it for a month or two and having hit a few potholes that hurt the wheel is getting a slight shake again enough to hate it.
Next when im parked say in a lot and i have to back out i turn the wheel sharp and it feels like the tires move a bit or im hitting a bump hard to explain but its not rubbing.

Anybody have an idea what i should do... is my rim bent from the guy that owned the car before... is this just a fact of low profile tire/rim life.... should i take to a rim and tire shop that knows what thier doing rather than dealer...
HELP.

You need to do two things. Physically inspect the wheels to make sure there are no dents, dings, or bends on the outside OR inside lip. If you have any of those take them to a wheel shop to get checked. They need to be repaired, they may just need to be rebalanced.

Second, have your alignment checked. You bought the car from a dealership, so take it back to them. Tell them you want the alignment checked and all of the suspension components checked. Doing both of these should clear up any problems you have been having.

Now you may still notice your car "tracking." The wider your tire, the more your car will have a tendency to track. Tracking is the condition of your tires trying to "follow" imperfections or grooves in the road. There isn't a whole lot you can do about that. Though some tires tend to track less than others.
