Default when getting coil overs.

since the xb has a shock and spring set up on the back. when getting coil overs, it will be shock and spring together. and it will mounted where the shock mounts. will that pin that the shock mounts on to will be strong enough to support the weight or will i have to strengthen it.=?

no it won't be a shock and spring together, it's seperate just like it is now. The adjustment is where the spring is.

Thanks! I was wondering the same thing. Also the top shock mount prolly would't last long supporting the rear of the box.

Actually, take a look at the JDM AWD rear axle configuration. They use a rear strut with the coil placed over the strut. And it appears to mount in the same location. I haven't inspected it personally, but I would guess that the upper shock mount is sound enough structurally to carry the load that would be applied by the springs.
