Is It 185/60 or 185/65???
What is the true stock
I was reading a post and am curious as to what the true diameter of the wheel is 185/60 of 185/65
Apparently the 60 series will turn the tire faster thus speedometer faster thus it will seem like youre car has more miles than it actually does, making the car seem more reliable!
Has Car and driver or road and track done any comparisons as to what the speedometer reads and what their digital read outs read?
Just curious since i want to upsize to 17 I want to know what to base it on 60 or 65

OEM US Market xB tire size is 185/60/15.
OEM JDM bB tire size is 185/65/15.
The U.S. speedometer is calibrated to the 185/65/15.
The U.S. odometer is calibrated to the 185/60/15.
Doesn't make a whole lot of sense, but that is what they did.
