Default 15 x 8 Sportmax 002 rub issue solved...

I know we should just have a whole section devoted to this rim alone...but I figured out a solution for my rubbing issue on the right rear tire.....I run 225 x 50's....Yes,,,,anyway I am lucky and maybe some of you guys are too to have either Tein or Cusco rear coilovers...they are height adjustable. So a small adjustment can alleviate the rubbing issue.

I raised my rear shock spring about a 1/2 inch....result was about a 5/16 raised body on the rub side.. just enough to not worry or hear $$$ going down the drain..

here's some pics..

Tein raised up about 1/2 inch

there is very little difference in height

Is that top shot with the rear coilovers cranked all the way down?

Default or....

you could also go with a smaller sized tire. i don't have any rubbing problems...yet. i will be getting the otg spacer kit, then i'll have to roll. right now i have 195/50/15s, but next time i'm gonna go with a 55 to fill up the gap a bit.
