Default bagged box problem!!!

ok so my car was leaking and after a few hours the thing would be laying on the ground... so i went under the car and changed all the brass and plastic fittings to total brass fittings... i chaged the fitting in the tank... the fittings comings from the tank into the valves... and then the fittings from the valves to the bags... not i took out the fittings in the back bags and taped them and i taped all the other fittings that i replaced because none of the old ones were taped to begin with... now... after i did all of this... my front right bag still leaks... i sprayed soapy water on both the valve fitting going from the valve to the bag and then i sprayed the fitting into the bag... nothing happend so i therefore thought it was fine... next morning i come out and uh oh the right strut is empty... now the front right line from the valve to the bag had been punctured so the shop put a connector on it... so i thought well then there is something obviously wrong with the line... so today i changed the line with brand new line and i let it sit for three hours... aand i go out there and the thing is half empty... or half full...

my question is... the lines that go from the valves to the gauges... if there is a leak there would the bag then leak??? and if so do you think that it would be that severe of a leak??? i need help because my car goes on the auto transporter this coming monday and i dont want it to empty five hours into a five day trip!!!

please help me!!!!

do you have guages connected that show the psi in the bag? Then yes there could be a leak there causing your bag to deflate.

If you have airlift struts. Spary the bag around the bottom and at the top where the strut rod comes out. They are just sealed with orings. The bags them selves could be leaking.

You'd have to replace the PTC fitting that the line comes out of (that goes to the gauge) with a plug the same size ... or all the air will come out ... faster then it is leaking lol

Has this happened to you Spider? If mine leak i'll be ____ed lol ... i don't have any problems with leaking up front .. just my rear plumbing ... that's probably cause the rear plumbing has home depot comp. fittings and the front is all brass Parker PTC's, i'll swap it out one day

No Mine haven't leaked. But I've had them apart to replace the strut. There just isn't much to them. The bottoms should be good for a long time. The top one may fail eventually. But I haven't heard of anyone having problems. But if they aren't seated exactly right I can see where you would have a problem.

BTW they should be replaceable......Don't know if airlift would sell them or not tho.
