Default New xA: Advice on springs and wheel shims

Picked up a brand new black xA today. Love the xA, but I don't like the gap around the rear tire.

After reading a bit it looks like some Tanabe DF210 springs and some 10mm wheel shims will fit the bill: minimize the gap and move the tires out a bit.

Are there any caveats and/or extras that need to be considered with this setup?

I don't want to drop a fortune on this, so if doing this means I have to get new shocks, etc., etc., I'll probably just leave it as is.

Thoughts?

Does anyone have a similar setup with pictures?

[Typo... somehow 25mm showed up when I meant 10mm!]

lol... the steelies are being replaced next week once the dealer gets my 15" alloy wheels. I suppose I should just have them do the TRD springs as well... save me the hassle...

I've seen pics of the 15" alloy with the OTG 25mm shims and it looks great. With the TRD drop, should be perfect for what I'm looking for.

I'm here in Colorado and when it snows I don't want to have to deal with a slammed ride.

I'll be using the steelies with winter tires. Found some cheapies...

Thanks
