Need specific information about df210s and adjustable struts
Put df210s on my new 06 xB. Trimmed snubbers. I like the stance and the ride (most of the time). I find the fronts bottom out too frequently for my liking. On the freeway last night, the struts would bottom out with a clunk when I drove through very mild dips. Same problem with driveway ramps. I know all about lowered cars, been driving them for years. So I'm careful.
I've looked at the parts sources on the forum and used the search feature. Neigher has been particularly helpful.
I'd like some serious comments from folks who've installed adjustable struts with df210s or the equivalent. What they have, how they've handled settings (particularly in compression) and their evaluation of how the struts they installed dealt with bottoming out. Were they shorter, so the travel area was more in the middle of the stroke? Did they deal with it simply by cranking up the compression? Or what?
Thanks
