i'm getting ready to strip my fenders. so i can fit into 15x8 +0 offset sport max 002 wheels with 205/50/15 tires. is it necessary to strip the fenders on the fronts or just the rears?or will i need to do all four corners?

what do you mean by stripping fenders? taking them completly off or are you rolling them?

 

the store said they cut the fender. and that would be a guarantee that the wheels wont rub. i'm just worried in the long haul. will this be a problem? or will stripping the fenders destroy my car?

 

I would talk to One Ton Garage before cutting and the like. They can let you know what you need. You likely need camber plates and different wheel offset. I assume you want something like the white XB here.

They allow a very low offset by cambering the wheel. They reduce tire wear by adjusting toe in as well.

But if you already have 0 offset wheels.....They probably won't help as the camber shims add positive offset and you are already outside the wheel well. Why 0 offset?

cutting your fenders wont make a difference. The wheel sticks out past the fenders. All you will be doing by cutting the fender is making a sharper edge to cut into your tires with.

Do you already have the 205/50? You should look into a 195/45. What kind of drop do you have on the car?

 

i already have on 205/50/15 wheels. and have no rubbing issues whatsoever? i am on tanabe df210 springs. can this sound right?
