Default Wheel Fitment Question (Will 16x9s fit without rubbing?)

Hi everyone, I haven't posted in a long time and it is really great to see all of the improvements in this forum. It was already good before but it is just getting better.

I am finally getting to modding my xB and I would appreciate some help with wheel sizes.

Will the following wheel sizes fit in the xB without any rubbing?
(assuming I have 45-50 series tires)

Front: 16x9 ET 30mm

Rear: 16x9 et15.

My car is not lowered yet, how many inches can I lower without these wheels rubbing?

I looked at the wheel fitment thread, but there weren't any 16x9's listed yet. Maybe I can be the first? :>

Thanks for your help.

You might need a 5mm spacer in front but that depends on the style of your rims, otherwise you should be fine, by the way make sure you drop your box, more is better, with 16" rims, 2" drop doesn't show itself that much by the way those sizes are not just putting them on and lets go for a drive, you need to roll your rear fenders for sure and grind some of your rear suspension (may not need this deppending on wheel) let me know if you need any other info, what kinda wheels are you getting !!! Default Thanks for the info

Thanks for the link and the advice!

The wheels I am looking at are Brock B2's.

I'm really digging the deep dish look.

It looks like they can fit but will require me to Roll the fenders and add a spacer to the fronts.

Does anyone know of any reputable shops in the South Bay (SF Bay Area, CA) that roll fenders and how much they charge?

:)

Yeah, with the low offset and wide rims rolling fender is a must, I had the tool to do mine but there is always this option,
https://www.scionlife.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=19730, good luck with your project, but after you done, you won't be like everybody else, just put some high offset 18 and call it a day, Sean

Thanks for the help again.

Is the front 5 mm spacer for looks or is there a functional reason?

Is it to prevent the rim from hitting the brake parts (disc, piston)

Using spacer could be very functional, I don't think anybody would run spacer for look since it would only show wrong offset wheel setup, but 5mm is not that bad and you can't really see it from outside, you may not need it if your spoke cleared your caliper, Sean
I'm running a set of A/X wheels (I will post pic after I'm done with all my mods), and I have 2" gold line for now and thinking about air bags or coil over for future, but I'm very happy with my goldlines, Sean

according to scionlife store, the zero wagons dont go as low as the v wagons
heres the specs for the zero wagons:
Front Drop: 3.2" max - 1.8" min
Rear Drop: 3.4" max - 2.2" min

and i am almost as low as i can go, i can go maybe another 1/4 - 1/2 lower in front and back. the ride is a little more harsh then the gold lines but that was only after i dropped almost to the max. when i first put them on i set it to about 2" all the way around and it rode soooo nice, it felt like i was driving a totally different car. it rode that smooth.
