Default Suspansion problems?

Yo guys,
I am driving a 05 xb with factory installed lowered spring and suspension (the 06 TRD, but i believe in 05 Toyota doesn't use TRD for those parts), and a 18' wheels, I FEEL MY CAR IS JUMPING ARONUD WHEN I DRIVE, IT WENT WORSE IF THE ROAD IS BAD.... my friend said the TRD suspension now is better, is that true, anyone face the same problem with me?? Is it normal to you guys??? Thanks

what is "lowered spring and suspension?" Do you have the TRD Struts also? If you dont, then thats why your suspension is bouncy. Same as mine because I chose not to have the Struts installed.

And the suspension is the same, nothing changed...

i believe my xb has a different suspension than the orginal one, according to Toyota it suppose to be TRD suspension. However, my dealer said they ran out of stock so they give me another one ( I forget the bland name but when I check online the price are the same as TRD's)

I have a fount strut but it's not TRD (they don't have TRD strut at that time)

No, do you have the TRD Struts/Shocks? If you dont, then that may be why you ride is a bit bouncier.

The bad ride quality is most likely from the 18" wheel combo. Try putting your steelies back on and see how it does then. Should make a world of difference.

BTW, TRD springs work just fine with the stock struts and Monroe rear shocks.

you are correct, but the springs should work better with a shock/strut combo that was designed to work with them. the more "agressive" setup of the TRD struts would take away some of the bounce and make his ride stiffer.
