what's that chrome thing that comes out of your fog light cover?

the 002s have zero offset and you will need to roll your fenders. I don't know about those tires fitting the 002s though.

There are other people that have used 195/50's on 002's, will def be a stretch tho.
Love the lettering, how did you do it? I have those same tires and been thinking about it as well...

Your 195-50's will definitely fit. I'm running 195s on 8" wheels.

so would a 205 tire work better?

for now I just useda paint pen from wal-mart craft section, I wanted to see if I liked it or not first. Auto Zone sells a paint pen that is made to do such a thing and I will go back and redo them with that. It held up for about a day before I started to see cracking on a few letters, so hopfully the new paint will hold up better. I will update when I do it, I may wait until I get the new tires and do it on them.

If you mean work better as in how difficult they are to mount or how they fit, they won't. I doubt anyone who's responded to this thread have actually mounted and balanced tires themselves.

I've personally mounted 195 and 205 on 15x8 wheels (205s on Sportmax 002 actually). It wasn't any harder mounting the 195's than it was mounting the 205s,in fact mounting them weren't any harder than installing them on "normal" width wheels.

Here's my friend's car with 205's (forgot the sidewall height) on custom painted Sportmaxes,Goldline springs.

They rubbed,I ended up dismounting them mounted 195/50's. Months later I had to mount those 205's on another set of Sportmaxes, which are on his sis-in-law's Yaris.

cool thanx for the info. So it sounds like a 195 size tire like I have will fit better I already rub just a little bit in the front at full wheel lock when I turn. the looks of the two don't seem to be huge. I will just stick to the 195 then. thanx for all the help.
