Default yet another wheel fittment question

First of all let me say that I did a search first and also read all 10, yes 10 pages of the wheel fittment thread in this forum. I have not found the answer to my specific fittment as of yet but would love to know before I go ahead and drop a grand on wheels:

My box is pretty low, I'd say about a 3"drop maybe and I have no front spacers. I do however have 25mm rear spacers from H&R and am not willing to take them off. I want to get these wheels I love and the are 17x7, 40mm offset and I already have tires which are 205/40/17. Does anyone know if they will rub the rear fender area? I'm not looking for a guess, but rather if someone knows for sure from experience. I would rather look for other wheels than deal with rub issues as I drive about 275 miles a day for work, I cannot guess (I tried a similar scenario a few months back and almost lost control when the tire caught the fender while I was on the freeway). Thanks in advance...

I have 17 x 7, 42 offset wheels with 215/45's.

I want OTG hub spacers. I know I can clear 10mm, think I can clear 20mm but would be close. My tires are bigger than yours. I am not rolled or lowered at all.

To try and answer your Q, I *think* that if you have 40 offset-which are further out by 2mm-and 25mm spacers, it would rub...especially with a 3" drop. Sorry, its a best guess.

Try this:http://www.rims-n-tires.com/rt_specs.jsp?postId=906

Good luck!

Whoops... sorry bout that, as for the original post topic, I am running 17x8 wheels with a +20 offset and with the air suspension all the way out it barely touches. Nothing a little fender roll cant fix. and if it still rubs a tad, which it probably won't, go with the rear camber shims for that extra cool look and clearance help!

Thanks for the props. But, grasshopper...

They really go to "jethro_b" who posted the link on page 8 of the "xA/xB Wheel and Tire Buyer's Guide" sticky.

Great sticky, BTW. I hope my fitment post will help some future xB owner!

Thanks, jethro_b, from all of us!
