Anyone know if someone out there makes a carbon fiber hood in a silverish color or any different color. I have a black Xb and I think a different color of carbon fiber would look nice on the black sand pearl give it a bit of contrast. Let me know if you can think of anything, or I was thinking of seeing if someone would let put a silver xb hood and see what it looks like. Anyways thanks for any info.

Red Genie has one but it's a bit different from what Nilo has on his silver CF.
I would not recommend silver CF since it is hard to work with. You can see all the broken weaves and looks like a big dent if that occurs.

I would go with either a blue/black or red/black carbon kevlar. I think for black that will look nice...
The silver one looks too much like a pearl white....might not look too bad though on a black car but again like I mentioned it's very hard to work with.

I know that there is a German material and process that looks good in silver CF but I heard it's a lot of $$ though.

Take it to a paint shop and they'll color it.

 

maybe to get the silver you look you can put a clear with silver in it on the hood.
