mounting 40 series tires on the stock 18'' trd wheels?
has anyone done it? is there any rubbing issues? i tried searching but i came up with nothing. 35's are just too thin for me. i need a little more meat. i'm on stock ride height. and i wont be looking into dropping it anytime soon. unless i make custom ramps to get onto my driveway. hah. any info would be appreciated. thanks!

hm. any idea on what the stock width is on these trd wheels? i have no idea. just 35 seems to skinny for me. i wouldn't think they are 18x9. they seem to wide for stock. (not really stock but you know what i mean. i hope. hehe.) but hm. just i'm tired of feeling every single bump on the road. i think 40 series would help out a bit more then 35's.
i know that i can clear it with 19's. because they came with the trd rh 19's on 35's. but i'm wanting to know if 40's would have any rubbing issues at all on these rh trd 18's... i currently have 35's on. but i'm looking into 40 series to help smooth out the ride.
alright cool. thanks h8. i'd rather have oversized (in this case) then undersized tires anyday. i just don't like the look of stretched on rubber bands. (i guess i should get different wheels? or just a little beefier tire to fix the tiny issue
) thanks everyone. i'll try it out come spring time. hehe
