So as soon as I sell my WRX, I'm going to get an xB. The only problem is I don't know what color to get. Yesterday I stopped at our local dealer to see if looking at the different colors in person would help. They had (from left to right) TCM, SM, PW all in a row. I stared at them for like 20 minutes. Then I noticed that the BSP one on the end of the row looked pretty good, too. Then I saw SRP on an xA the next row over and thought that would look pretty good on an xB. Then I saw a BOP on the way out and decided there's just no such thing as a bad color on an xB! So basically I'm right back where I started. Sorry for the rambling...

Anyway, I think I'm down to Polar White and Shadow Mica. Any thoughts and/or pics to help me decide? Thanks!

PW is the way to go! Easy to keep clean and so many options. It's the color that isn't a color. It's super bright too. That's just my $.02.

 

Just get a PW, and paint part of it SM, thats what I did!! Best of both worlds.

I have a Flint Mica tC. Close to Shadow Mica. I hate the color. Looks horrible when direct sunlight hits the car. Plus too many people have it.

I'm looking into getting an xB, and I wouldn't order anything but Polar White.

 

If I do get the xB, I'm making it look like this. Basically, not identical. The guy who owns it sold it for a Honda Fit.

 

Then why did you pick that color?

 

To me, Shadow Mica looks sort of green-ish when direct sunlight hits it, and I'm not sure if that's good or bad yet. But it looks kinda Charcoal most of the time and I'm a big fan of that. Plus not many people have the Shadow Mica, which makes me lean that way. But Polar White just looks so clean & mean!

Just got a check to hold my WRX for a week... So it's tentatively sold and the votes are 10 to 10 between Polar White and Shadow Mica... dang!

If I had it to do over, I would have probably gone with White. There are tons of TCM around here. However, you've gotta love the metallic characteristic of the Flint Mica. I guess it boils down to this: Flint Mica=Awesomeness (but only when it's clean)
PW=Awesomeness (even when it's a little dirty) Good luck.

 

I was in the same boat with the exact same colors.. Well on Friday I chose Polar White and it is supposed to be here today. I felt the white would be much better. Stays cleaner looking and all. Right now I drive a white Nissan Pathfinder, and even when it is very dirty, it looks clean next to a slightly dusty charcoal colored car.
