Default Anybody have the upgraded 7-spoke wheels?

Just curious if it's a worthwhile upgrade on a new xB

If you are asking about the optional seven-spoke alloy wheels from your Scion dealer, they are nice solid wheels, but IMHO overpriced...

There are a lot of other wheels out there, and most every one is less expensive than the dealer wheels.

In seven-spoke, for example, here's the Scion wheel, and a $70 Sport Edition wheel from Tirerack, com:

(And yes, that wheel is available is sizes to fit the xB. My wheels are cheapo Sport Edition wheels, and they are just fine - I like 'em.)

I wonder if those Scion center caps would fit the after market wheels. I like those better than the Scion ones too! Nice choice Tomas!!!

Actually I chose a different model of Sport Edition wheels, Jeff. I debated back and forth between the seven-spoke and five-spoke and decided I liked their five-spoke better for my box (see profile).

The SE wheels are nicely made and do the job, if one likes one of their styles. The best part is they are not priced out-of-reach. http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/sport...ortedition.jsp

YMMV.

My bad. I do remember seeing your 5 spoke ones and liked them.

I wonder the same thing... I would really like to have the Scion logo on my wheels when I get around to replacing the stock ones...

(I've heard that the Scion alloy wheels are made for Scion by Enkai, Jeff, but I have no confirmation of that.)

I'm sure you can get a set for less than the dealer sells them for, but wheel locks are a must, right?

I was looking at these: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/16-Al...QQcmdZViewItem
They are from a European Toyota model, according to the seller.

If you are not locked into factory wheels, try eBay for aftermarket. I got a set of chrome Motegi RT5s with new Falken tires for $400 shipped.

I think I might be saving the 665 right now (even though I really like the wheels I can get them later) and I'm going to get an alarm first thing.
