Default (xa specific) any experience with jic coilovers/hks

I currently have tien basic coilover(xb setup, was told it was the same as xa) and it is swapability(swapability, my word). The problem is that the spring rates are different and the rear will not go as low as the front. Does any on have experience with the JIC Magic setup on an XA or HKS. Does it indeed lower 2inches front and rear. Or can someone recommend a setup that
1. has dampning
2. does not cost over $1,500
3. will sit front 2inches max, and rear 2inches max

Thank you, your help is always appreciated.

Really dont be shy, share the experience. Someone has to have experience with JIC/Hks coilovers on their xa/ist.
